Studio Ghibli has announced today two new movies to its lineup for 21013. Kaze Tachinu (The wind is rising), based an a manga by Miyazaki about Jirō Horikoshi, the designer of Japan’s famed Zero fighter plane of World War II.
The other is the famous Taketori Monogatari (The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter), which is a story about finding a baby princess inside bamboo. Both films will open on the same day but in separate theaters.
