“Paranormal Parentage” is one of the most tangible examples of how Community’s fourth season hasn't exactly gotten star treatment from NBC. This Halloween episode, pushed back to mid-February by the network, unfortunately has problems that do not stop with its odd, yet unavoidable timing.

The recent fall of THQ from relative prosperity to Chapter 11 bankruptcy and an eventual liquidation of all assets shocked the gaming industry; THQ is the first major gaming publisher to collapse in years. Yet, when looking back at the publisher’s recent history one can see signs of bad things to come.

The post Behind the Fall of THQ: Could Third-Party Publishers Become a Thing of the Past? appeared first on Leviathyn.

This Thursday marks the return of one of my favorite shows on television: NBC’s Community. To celebrate the return of the show, I am taking a look back at each of the previous three seasons. Beware, there may be minor spoilers, but I will try not to reveal any major plot developments. Enjoy! After a stellar second season of Community, I had high expectations for third season. Luckily, this season lived up to my expectations, often exceeding them. The amazing thing about Community is that creator Dan Harmon (who unfortunately will not return for season four) is constantly coming up with wacky ideas that no one would ever think of or expect. Season three is no exception to that rule, and for that reason Community continues to be my favorite show on television. Perhaps the most intriguing new storyline of season three is the mystical cult of the air conditioning ...

The post A Look Back at Community: Season 3 appeared first on Leviathyn.

Beware, there may be minor spoilers, but I will try not to reveal any major plot developments. Enjoy! While the first season of Community was inconsistent and did not manage to find its identity until the very end, the second season quickly establishes itself as quality television. In season one, the show started with many episodes that seemed very generic. In this season, the show does a very good job of giving itself its own quirky identity that sets itself apart from all the other sitcoms that were on television at the time. The season starts out with a mediocre first episode but quickly ramps up, with the early season highlight being “Basic Rocket Science”, ...

The post A Look Back at Community: Season 2 appeared first on Leviathyn.

Beware, there may be minor spoilers, but I will try not to reveal any major plot developments. Enjoy! Almost every new television show takes a couple of episodes to find itself, and Community is no exception. The premise of Community is surprisingly dull. The show centers around a study group at a community college. The show has an ensemble cast, yet many of the actors were relatively unknown when this series first premiered. The first season of Community does not exactly start out with a bang. The show introduces a promising group of characters, from the self-obsessed former lawyer Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) to the quirky pop-culture reference machine Abed Nadir (Danny Pudi) who sees ...

The post A Look Back at Community: Season 1 appeared first on Leviathyn.

After several weeks of listing the best Youtube has to offer, this series is coming to an end. The point of this series was always to show readers that Youtube is a legitimate content platform, with Hollywood-level films, professional comedy, and unique vlogging entertainment. There are many great channels on Youtube today, far too many to list. To end this series, here are my five favorite channels on Youtube. 5. Smosh The duo of Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla not only operate their wildly successful Smosh channel (which has the most subscribers on Youtube) but also a great vlogging channel, a gaming channel, a cartoon channel, and more. The two friends have turned some innocent homemade videos into a veritable Youtube empire, and they are very good at what they do. 4.
