Curt Schilling sued for $2.4 million

Ouch. That’s quite the large sum of money Curt Schilling might end up paying. Citizen’s Bank filed a lawsuit last Thursday against the former professional pitcher, suing him to the sweet tune of $2.4 million.

According to Citizen’s Bank, Schilling “personally guaranteed a $2 million letter of credit and a $350,000 corporate credit card the bank gave 38 Studios,” money that both Schilling and 38 Studios have refused to pay. With Schilling already in hot water with the whole Rhode Island fiasco, this can’t be good news for the founder of 38 Studios. If you want to read more about the lawsuit, WPRI has you covered.
