Pokemon Black and White 2 has secured its place as the first game to sell over a million units in Japan this year. After passing 1.6 million in 2 days on its opening weekend, the game has also taken the honors of being the third best start for a DS game in the country.
Despite being outdone by its predecessor Pokemon Black and White, which sold 2.6 million units in its first 2 days, the game set off with a great start, amassing 1.16 million pre-orders before its release on June 23.
Look for Pokemon Black and White 2 in America later this year.
