Leviathyn The Gamer's Chronicle
Just in time for Leviathyn’s Mega Man Theme Week, Archie Comics announced a crossover event featuring two of gaming’s most iconic names: Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog.
The 12-part story arc will debut next year and take place in three of Archie’s existing series: Mega Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Sonic Universe. Ian Flynn, the writer for the existing comic series, will also pen this new arc.
This will be the first time that Mega Man and Sonic come together in any capacity, and one can only hope that this story will help both the Mega Man and Sonic franchises gain some ground. It’s no secret than both of these names have struggled in recent years, so any new exposure is more than welcome.
Look for more on this new crossover series later this week, as San Diego Comic-Con kicks off on Thursday.
