Spartacus Coming to PS3 and Xbox 360

Ubisoft has announced the development of download only title Spartacus for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early 2013 MCV reports.

Spartacus Legends will cast gamers into a Roman arena and have them fight gladiators either as Spartacus, Crixus or a fighter of their own creation.

Both online and offline multiplayer will be included and leaderboards will track the best the players. Liam McIntyre, who plays Spartacus in the TV series, Spartacus: Blood and Sand, will lend his voice and likeness to the game and has been given the developers feedback.

Spartacus Legends will launch on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live next year.
