Leviathyn The Gamer's Chronicle
At their Comic-Con panel yesterday, Epic games pulled back the curtain on Fortnite, a game only teased last year. Looking to be part Left 4 Dead, part Minecraft, Fortnite is Epic’s take on the zombie genre. Players will battle various enemies, such as the standard zombie Husk enemies and the brutish Smashers, all while attempting to build a safe fortress to fortify themselves in. The game has a quirky, cartoony art style much different from any of Epic’s past games and will be the first game created on the anticipated Unreal Engine 4 that debuted at GDC 2012.
