Mega Man 2 Headed to Japanese 3DS eShop

Often touted as one of the best games for the NES era, Nintendo announced today that Mega Man 2 is headed for the 3DS eshop.

Unfortunately for those of us stateside and in the UK, it’s only being released in Japan at first, but it’s common for games to eventually make their way to the west after our Eastern friends see it. There’s no official announcement on this yet, but one can remain hopeful.

Mega Man 2 is one of the most revered platformers for the NES, having built a successful formula out of its predecessor and revolutionizing action games at the time. For more on Mega Man 2, click here.
