Rumor: Is This a Prince of Persia Reboot?

Kotaku gave us a look at an interesting image today. Rumored to be a screenshot from an upcoming Prince of Persia reboot, the image surfaced online after a user on Ubisoft’s forums posted it.

Could this be an image from the codenamed Prince of Persia Zero? There hasn’t been any official announcement either confirming or denying the truth behind these rumors, but from the image, it looks like a definite maybe. With a different hero and a setting looking more Egypt than Persia, this could be the big change that Ubisoft once suggested they’d like to bring to the franchise.
