The World Ends With You…In Your Pocket…on IOS Devices

After a mysterious countdown timer this week, Square Enix has announced that their standout DS title The World Ends With You will be getting the iOS treatment when it’s ported over to Apple devices on August 27th for a modest fee of $18 for the iPhone and $20 for the iPad.

It should be noted, however, that that release is in Japan only, and we haven’t heard anything about a North American release.

The new version has been enhanced with HD graphics, new songs and remixes, and a “new combat system”.
