Valve Enters Into Hardware Development

“We’re frustrated by the lack of innovation in the computer hardware space,” Valve boldy stated today on the job posting section of their web site, “so we’re jumping in.”

And with that, Valve has formally announced that they will be moving forward with hardware development as they look to “create compelling user experiences” and move forward with an all-new, not-yet-announced hardware project.

Could this be the rumored Steam Box we’ve heard so much speculation on over the years? It’s too early to tell, but rest assured whatever Valve is working on, it’ll definitely be something the likes of which you’ve never seen before.
