PlayStation Plus headed to PS Vita in November

Trying not to be outdone by news of a newly designed PlayStation 3, the PlayStation Vita also had something up its sleeve: PlayStation Plus. During Sony’s Tokyo Game Show keynote, Sony Computer Entertainment president Andrew House officially revealed that PlayStation Plus would be coming to the PlayStation Vita this November.

For Japanese users, PlayStation Plus will cost 500 yen each month, while Plus users in the US will have to fork over $17.99 every three months and $49.99 for the year. If you are a current PlayStation Plus user, you will get free PS Vita membership, while any new PlayStation Plus subscribers on the PS Vita will be able to access any PS3 bonuses. In addition, if you are a Plus member on the PS Vita, you can send any saved game data to the cloud, with 1GB for PS3 saves and 1 GB for PS Vita saves.
