For you PlayStation Mobile users out there, things just got very interesting for you. At its Tokyo Game Show keynote, Sony announced that the PlayStation Store for PlayStation Mobile will launch on October 3rd.
You’ll remember that PlayStation Suite was renamed PlayStation Mobile during Sony’s E3 keynote address. The first countries that, through the PlayStation Store, be able to access PlayStation Mobile content will be Japan, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Australia. When the PlayStation Store launches on October 3rd, there will be 30 games immediately ready for download, though exactly what those launch games are is still shrouded in mystery.
For any mobile developers interested in PlayStation Mobile, Sony will be rolling out the PlayStation Mobile SDK sometime in November at $99.99 per year.
