At a pre-TGS conference earlier this week, Mega Man mastermind Keiji Inafune revealed the full name of his upcoming zombie game, as well as a batch of all-new screenshots.
Titled Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, Inafune said at the game’s initial reveal that he feels a zombie game is expected from him, and this was his answer to that expectation.
Featuring an all-out assault of awesome, the gameplay will revolve around ninjas and slaughtering hordes of zombies. We don’t know much about it past that, but Inafune has said that the game will follow the exploits of a ninja named Yaiba as he hunts down Ninja Gaiden protagonist Ryu Hayabusa.
The game will be developed by both Spark Unlimited and Comcept, Inafune’s new development studio. Both studios will work side by side to guarantee that the game meets both Japanese and Western standards.
