EA today announced that on November 6th PC and Xbox 360 gamers will be able to purchase a trilogy pack of BioWare’s Mass Effect series. The trilogy will arrive on PS3 at a later date and will include the first Mass Effect which has never been released on that system.
Mass Effect will also be available to download separately on PlayStation Network. Presumably the decisions made in Mass Effect on PS3 will carry forward to it’s sequels as is the case on PC and Xbox 360. PlayStation gamers previously had to choose what had occurred in the original game via an interactive cartoon.
It is not yet known what, if any, DLC is included in the package but it is likely that all available packs will be present. BioWare are releasing the pack to mark November 7th or N7 day a reference to the rank of soldier protagonist Commander Shepard is in the series.
The trilogy has not been announced for Wii U though Mass Effect 3 is a launch title.
