Sony and Insomniac announce Resistance Collection

Though Insomniac won’t be making any more Resistance games anytime soon, that won’t stop them and Sony from trying to squeeze money from the series. Today, Sony and Insomniac announced Resistance Collection for PS3.

The collection will pack Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2, and Resistance 3. As far as add-on content is concerned, “the best DLC” for Resistance 2 and 3 will be included, though specifically-speaking, the Aftermath Pack and skin bundle for Resistance 2, as well as the Brutality and Survival packs for Resistance 3 were mentioned. Whether that is all of “the best DLC” that will be included in the collection is yet to be confirmed, though the price tag sure is confirmed: $39.99.

No release date was given, though more information will be made available “in the coming weeks.” For you PS3 owners, considering the myriad of games due for release this holiday season, is Resistance Collection even in your radar?
