Though it’s been almost three years since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was released, it still manages to grab headlines. Infinity Ward has temporarily taken down “Favela,” one of the multiplayer maps on Modern Warfare 2, after players discovered an offensive item: a picture frame that has a quote from Mohammed that is hanging above a toilet.
After Activision caught wind of this, it took down the map from Modern Warfare 2, with both Modern Warfare 2 and 3 scheduled to receive title updates to remove the offensive item. For now, however, the “Favela” map is down. You can see the video of the offensive item below.
