Joining the increasingly popular ranks of the free-to-play model, Sony has announced that the popular karaoke exclusive Singstar will soon be a free download available on the PlayStation Network. It remains unclear at this time exactly what players will have to pay for, or how the model will work, but one will need a physical microphone to play, and it’s assumed that the game will charge money for individual tracks used during gameplay.
