Maybe he’s just being stealthy, but James Bond seems to have completely disappeared from not only Steam, but Activision’s own online store. In addition, if you look at Amazon, though the disc versions of 007 Legends, Blood Stone and Quantum of Solace are still available, the download versions are not.
Why exactly this is happening is anyone’s guess, since the only other reason is that the rights to the 007 license is expiring. However, given 007 Legends‘s release in October (November for PC), that really doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. We’ll update this post as Activision gives a response to this. Or, we can just ask Bond about this.
