The former president of Konami Europe, Kunio Neo, has joined the European subsidiary of Capcom, GamesIndustry International reports.
Neo joins the team following the departure of Capcom Europe chief of operations David Reeves; However, it is yet unknown in what capacity he will serve the company. His role at Konami was filled last year by Shinji Hirano, coinciding with the relocation of Konami European HQ from Germany to the U.K.
Kunio Neo has been credited with many of Konami’s biggest titles over the last few years. As president he oversaw the release of Silent Hill 2 through 4, and the most recent entry Homecoming. He also oversaw several entries in the Metal Gear franchise including Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Acid and Metal Gear: The Twin Snakes.
Stay tuned for updates in the coming days.
