Syndicate and Chronicles of Riddick developer Starbreeze has announced that they are producing a new sci-fi shooter franchise, Storm.
Though launch platforms or a release date have not been revealed Starbreeze has mentioned the new series alongside other titles currently being developed such as Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and Payday 2.
“Currently in development,” Starbreeze’s website reads. “Co-op Sci-Fi FPS. It is our future.”
PlaySyndicate first noted the title’s existence. Storm may be the new name for Cold Mercury, a free-to-play title which was expected to follow Syndicate’s launch last February.
