Here’s the pretty looking box art for the new Nintendo 3DS game The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds that’s due on November 22nd. But… what’s that? A singleplayer game with a Nintendo Network icon in the corner? What’s that about?
This could either mean that the game has a previously unannounced multiplayer mode or that Nintendo intends to offer some type of support DLC. This could even mean that they’ll release extra story content. Who knows? I certainly didn’t expect this. It could be nothing at all, maybe even micro-transactions, but it’s still fun to speculate.
In case you didn’t know before, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is supposed to be a sequel or some sort to the Super Nintendo classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. So if you enjoyed that game and want more of that sweet 2D Zelda action, you should get a 3DS and grab yourself this one, I know I will.
But back on the topic of the Nintendo Network functionality, what do you think it could be? What are some of the best case or worst case scenarios? Comment down below!
