Konami Announces Blade Wolf DLC for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Players who have wanted to control Bladewolf might just be in luck with the third DLC pack for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Konami have announced that the third DLC, called Blade Wolf, will be coming to Xbox 360 on 14th May and Playstation 3 on 15th May. It is set to contain addition side-story content which centers on LQ-84i, or Blade Wolf as he is more commonly known.

The 4-legged robot gets its own story now, featuring multiple hours of gameplay and unique abilities and characteristics. The story, you may be pleased to hear, expands on each of his storylines and provides details and insights into his origins.

After being reactivated by Desperado Enforcement’s leader Sundowner and serving under Mistral, Blade Wolf shows you the story of LQ-84i before his battle and eventual partnership with Raiden, as well as his transformation into Blade Wolf. Players will encounter countless enemies who will be torn apart using an arsenal of unique weapons and abilities, and the DLC culminates in an all-new boss battle.

The Blade Wolf DLC will be available for 560 Microsoft Points for the Xbox 360 and £5.90/$9.14 for Playstation 3. Please remember that you will need to have purchased the game in order to run this, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is available for the Playstation 3 and box 360 now.

If you haven’t played Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance yet then make sure to read the Leviathyn review – it just might change your mind and convince you that Raiden really is a badass.

Feel free to call me Sarah or Zippy, I don’t mind! I’m the person who spends a little too much time on games, whether running around like a maniac with a chainsaw in Gears of War or trying to catch em all in Pokemon. I’ve played games forever and I’m currently studying how to make them while writing about them. When not writing (or working) I watch movies and enjoy the occasional bout of sunlight.
