Microsoft Announces the Day One Features for Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3, and Ryse: Son of Rome

Via Major Nelson’s blog, Microsoft has revealed several features exclusively for the day one editions of Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5, and Ryse: Son of Rome.

Fans who purchase the day one edition of Forza Motorsport 5 will gain access to three exclusive cars, including the 2010 Audi TT RS Coupe, the 2013 Ford Focus ST, and the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera. All three of these cars will have custom tuning packages and a day one-themed livery.

Dead Rising 3 will feature a classic Frank West outfit complete with the Zombie Slugger weapon, new attacks that promise more gore, ad a “custom skill move.” New perks will also allow for better melee damage and “tougher survivors”.

Alongside the Frank West outfit, players will also be able to don the outfit of Chuck Greene and take up the paddle saw combo weapon in their quest to slay hordes of the undead. This will also reward players with new perks for both weapons and vehicles.

One of the new exclusives to launch with the Xbox One, Ryse: Son of Rome will allow day one players to gain access to the exclusive Gladiator Mode Co-op Multiplayer map. Those who own the day one edition will also be able to bring friends who own the standard edition of Ryse into the map for some Gladiator mayhem.

Adopters of the day one edition of Ryse will also be rewarded with an exclusive sword and the Ruins challenge arena where players will be faced with many enemies and obstacles in an effort to test their skill.

These day one editions are only available in limited supply through pre-order at retailers and can be downloaded via Xbox Live for up to two weeks after the console’s launch.

No exact release date for the Xbox One is known at this time, but Microsoft has announced that we can expect to see the console in stores this November. Keep it locked here for more announcements as we get ready for the console’s launch this fall.
