Titanfall has finally landed today as gamers of the Xbox One and PC can grab their copy either retail or through the Xbox One or EA’s Origin client.
The installation size of the Xbox One version is just under 17 GB. On PC though, you’ll need to make room for a Titan-sized 48 GB. This decision alleviates some of the processing needs to decompress the audio on the fly. 35 GB of the installation is comprised of audio.
Speaking of Titanfall, the Twitch app is now available for streaming on the Xbox One. The online streaming option has been included in the March patch out today.
Sony has announced that it’s racing game, DriveClub, which was to make its debut on the PlayStation 4, has gone back to the drawing board until the game is ready enough to ship.
Star Citizen, the upcoming space trading and combat simulator has now surpassed the 40 million milestone on its crowd fundraising.
Trion Worlds has announced its new DRM-free digital platform for PC called Glyph.The digital platform will offer both third-party and Trion titles. Glyph is expected to be released with a full slate of launch partners at some point after GDC 2014.
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 2 will be available for $14.99 on Windows PC and Mac via Steam April 7th. Pre-orders are available via Neocore’s website.
Following news of lay-offs last week, video network Machinima has raised $18 million in funding led by Warner Bros. Entertainment.
Raptr has now exceeded 22 million users and says it is brining in 1.5 million new users a month. The increase of its user base comes from a recent partnership with AMD to optimize PC games.
