Hopefully you’ve been following my video series detailing my impressions on the Transformers Fall of Cybertron demo. This is my third and final entry to that series in which I hop online and check out the multiplayer. Normally I’m against multiplayer because single player campaigns usually suffer when developers focus on online aspects. War for Cybertron was one of my few exceptions. The idea of customizing my own Transformer was too great an idea to ignore. I spent many hours online battling other Cybertronians and it looks as if I’ll be spending many more in the sequel.
One of the coolest features in Transformers Fall of Cybertron is that the customization has been entirely overhauled. There are so many options, from weapons to body parts, to choose from. As you’ll see in the video, I go through a lot of the parts for the infiltrator class. There are also dozens of parts for the other classes. This ensures, that after launch, there are going to be many unique transformers battling it out in the wastelands of Cybertron.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, it’s going to be a long wait for the release of Transformers Fall of Cybertron for Transformer fans new and old. Check out what the online mode has in store in the conclusion of my hands on look; then download the demo and play it everyday until the game is released!
