Toad & Bowser themed Wii Remotes Heading to Japan
Japan is getting two new Wii Remote Plus controllers on March 12.
Toad and Bowser will join the likes of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Yoshi of Nintendo characters with their own Wii Remotes. They will be priced at 3,619 yen including tax, which puts the North American price at $29.99. Keep in mind however, that the Mario, Luigi and Peach Wii remotes are currently priced at $39.99.
There’s no word from Nintendo whether the Toad and Bowser remotes are coming to North America and Europe. The Mario, Luigi and Peach remotes made it over, but the Yoshi Wii remote has yet to arrive.
As with previous Mario-themed Wii Remotes, they will come packaged in a colored silicon case.
