Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered Now Available
Months away from it’s tenth anniversary, Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit if you live outside North America) has received an HD upgrade that’s now available on several platforms.
Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered is being handled by Aspyr Media, who have taken the uncut, uncensored version of the 2005 game and recreated all the textures in HD. They also added the ability to switch between the original and upgraded graphics at the touch of a button. Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered features full controller support for Xbox and Playstation controllers. Other than that, the game is exactly how we remember it.
Indigo Prophecy was originally released in 2005 by Quantic Dream, the studio behind Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. The game was significant for putting greater emphasis on story than on gameplay and arguably paved the way for games like The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us.
The game is available on Steam, Mac, Linux and on iOS devices. An Android version is currently in the works. There are no plans for a console release at this time.
