Final Fantasy XV DLC Plans Revealed

With Spiky Hair Chronicles 15, I mean Final Fantasy XV, coming out in just over a month, Square Enix released their plans for the game’s downloadable content.

Noctis, the main character of the game, was thought of to be the only playable character, up until now. On Square Enix’s website, they revealed that his friends, Gladiolus, Ignus, and Prompto will have their own chunk of DLC, in which they all become playable.

A translation of the Square Enix’s Japanese website, by Siliconera, confirms that there will be 6 different DLC packs planned for the game, three of which are currently occupied by Noctis’ spiky haired buddies. The first one planned is supposed to feature, “powerful weapons that will help you out in battle.” A holiday pack is planned that will, “include a splendid item pack that will make your game more gorgeous.” The last pack is said to be an expansion pack.

The season pass does not currently have a North American price point yet, but it is included in the deluxe edition of the game for $85.00 USD. Final Fantasy XV is set to be released on September 30, 2016 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
